We specialize in Vinyl, VCT, & Linoleum Floor Cleaning. We clean the floor with low-speed buffer machine and cleaning solution. Then we neutralize the floor with clean water. Lastly, we add a polish to shine and protect the floor. Adding floor polish is recommended but optional. Some customers like there floors extra shiny. Adding additional coats of wax or floor finish will be an extra charge. (See rates below)

Important factors that may subject your quote to additional charges (because they make the work more labor intensive):

  • Removing paint, varnish, or layers of (unknown) old finish from the floor
  • Detailing such as hand-work, cleaning corners, tight spaces, removing hard scuffs, condition of floor etc
  • Fixed obstacles, furniture, or certain types of machinery or equipment that cannot be moved, yet still need to be worked around and/or under (We Do Not Move Heavy Furniture Under Any Circumstance)
  • Situations that make the workflow difficult or inconvenient (such as a faraway janitor’s closet or water source)
  • Anything less than 1000 sq ft will be a minimum fee of $350.
  • Adding Additional Coats of Wax or Floor Finish | Price Per Coat: 10% of the Square Footage (1st Coat is Free)

VCT or Vinyl Composite Tile is one of the most common floors we service. We are highly skilled at cleaning, buffing, and stripping VCT flooring. Not to be confused with LVT (Laminate Vinyl Tile) also known as a cheaper alternative to hardwood or an imitation of it. This type of flooring is still considered Vinyl flooring just with a mixture of laminate to give it a wood appearance. Linoleum is also an older variant of vinyl flooring. This type of flooring usually comes in sheets and will lay on top of another hard surface flooring. Linoleum is common in kitchens and basements for residential establishments. Commercial establishments usually carry the tile variant, VCT; commonly used in hospitals, schools, healthcare facilities, and even convenience stores. Most commercial waxes and floor finishes can be used on all 3 types of floors as they are all pretty much Vinyl flooring or a variant of it. VCT floor cleaning usually involves stripping and waxing the floor. However, the floor can be deep scrubbed or lightly cleaned with a non-strip cleaning agent and a auto scrubber, or mop. We service many locations with VCT or Vinyl flooring in the metro Detroit area.
